Berechnung von Bewegungsverben zur Beschreibung von aus Bildfolgen gewonnenen Fahrzeugtrajektorien in Straßenverkehrszenen

Motion verbs denote a more abstract description level for activities recorded by image sequences than a pure description in terms of trajectory data. Therefore, motion verbs seem to be useful for describing motion events in systems for automatic interpretation of image sequences. In this article a new method for defining and extracting motion verbs from trajectory data is described. The method has been applied to about 90 different definitions of German verbs describing simple traffic events. It is pointed out that this method is not restricted to German verbs and event descriptions.
