Abstract
This specification notes the additional features of the renderer DESIRe in version 1.2 Therefore, it lists the additional set of functionilities including parameter ranges, defaults and the according command syntax. New and extended file formats used by DESIRe (binary as well as ASCII files) are described and explained in detail. The current software distribution and the available platforms are listed.
