Application of gold-electroforming in dentistry a new fully-automatic electroforming technology to produce gold/ceramic crowns

In comparison with commonly used casting technologies, the new fully-automatic gold-electroforming technology to produce gold/ceramix crowns, bridges and inlays reduces material and labor costs and offers significant improvements in quality, reproducibility and handling. The purpose of this paper is to describe the electroforming - technology in detail under the special consideration of this application for dental labs. This paper will discuss the process steps and the fully-automatic, closed plating system.
