The invention relates to a device for the measurement of irregularities in vessel inner walls using ultrasound, consisting of ultrasonic radiators 2, an exciter device for exciting the ultrasonic radiators to transmit ultrasound, whereby the ultrasound radiators 2 are arranged in groups in such a way that the ultrasound emitted by a group can be focused onto a vessel inner wall, and having a detecting device to detect the ultrasound reflected from the vessel inner wall. The detection capacity for defects is improved by this device by arranging the ultrasonic radiators 2 along a concave surface 4 of the device.
