Abstract
The colour correction device includes an optical sensor element (5) which receives light emitted from at least a group of colour points. A control unit compares the sensor signal with a reference signal and controls the cathode ray tube according to the result of the signal comparison. In one embodiment the sensor element is a PIN-diode. The sensor element receives light from an area of a maximum of 1000x1000 colour points. The control unit has a microprocessor (1) which processes signals converted by an ADC (6). ADVANTAGE - Provides in-situ colour correction.
