Volumenbilder mit ComScan und Mikro-CT
Abstract
During development of a new product or as quality control of a production process it can be necessary to investigate part of the volume of an object, not only single planes. This contribution discusses two methods generating nondestructively volume data of an object, the computed tomography and the backscattering technique, ComScan. With computed tomography many adjacent planes can be reconstructed and combined to a set of volume data. An other possibility is the direct reconstruction of an object volume using 2 dimensional projections. The ComScan system measures in one scan 22 neighbouring planes and images the backscattered intensities. A visualisation software allows an imaging of the whole volume as a pseudo 3 dimensional image or a selective imaging of any plane under arbitrary angles.
