Abstract
Virtual reality is an enabling technology in computer graphics which integrates human users with computer-generated worlds. Regarded as the human-machine interface of the future, virtual reality (VR) addresses multiple human senses, such as the visual, the auditory, and the haptic senses. Virtual reality integrates tools and techniques for stereoscopic viewing, audio input/output and the processing of tactile information. Applications for virtual rality can be found in architecture and design, molecular modeling, simulator technology, industrial automation, medical sciences and many other often cited areas.
