Uncertainty analysis of PV efficiency measurements with a solar simulator - spectral mismatch, non-uniformity and other sources of error

Abstract
A detailed uncertainty analysis of the solar simulator method for measuring PV efficiencies of crystalline Si solar cells leads to a 2.3 % uncertainty limit (resp. plus minus 4.4 % for linear addition). Comparison with the results of an international round robin indicates that many researchers underestimate their uncertainty limits. (ISE)
