Abstract
The amorphization in the system Cu-Ta is investigated in the concentration Cu20Ta80 to Cu70Ta30. The milled powders were examined by x-ray. Crystallization temperatures, activation energy of crystallization, crystallization enthalpies and stored energy of the elements were determined by DSC- and DTA-measurements. The amorphization of alloys in the immiscible system Cu-Ta is discussed in context with the stored deformation- and interface-energy.
