Title

Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7-x thick films by sol-gel processing

Abstract
A discription of the preparation of superconducting YBa2 Cu3 O7-x thick films (thicknesses 10 to 30 micrometre) by a cemical method (sol-gel technique) is given Ag- or MgO-substrates were coated in an one-step procedure. The obtained crackfree films show critical temperatures comparable to that of bulk material and intrinsic current densities > 10exp4 A/sqcm. Oriented crystallization was realized on Ag-substrates.
