Abstract
In an optical bomb the combustion behavior of various PSAN/GAP-mixtures has been invetigated to characterize the influence of different, phasestabilising metal diammine complexes. Under various pressure levels burning rate, flame geometry and combustion temperatures were determined at the reacting surface and gaseous phase. New non-intrusive diagnostic methods like rapid two-colour-pyrometry and continuous-radiation-fit were used to achieve realistic profiles of local temperature and emission in ranges of solid surface, fizz-zone and gaseous phase and correlated with the flame geometry. This yields to extensive deductions to burning behavior and macroscopic reaction mechanisms.
