The decrease of stabilizers in propellants can be much better described with a combination of fust and zero order kinetics than with first order kinetics, which represent the experimental values quite well as long as the stabilizer content is greater than about 30 % of the original content The new model considers that the content reaches zero tn a finite time. The prediction of lifetimes is better than with first order kinetics.
