Abstract
NOVELTY - The buoyancy aid is in the form of a vest with a protective collar (3) surrounding the neck region when inflated. The gas for inflation is provided by a solid propellant initiated by electrical energy. Preferably the vest has large volume sections in the chest (2) and back (1) regions.
