Title

Pump and probe technique on excimer laser-induced plasmas

Abstract
The electron density and the geometry of an expanding vapor/plasma are investigated by pump and probe beam technique during the material removal of an Al203 target with pulsed excimer laser radiation. The results obtained are compared with those of high speed photography.
