PROSYT - Zielsetzung und Ergebnisse der Entwicklung einer Systementwicklungsumgebung
Abstract
Because of the complexity of automation projects, computer assistance is required for their execution. In the PROSYT project described here, a system engineering environment for distributable realtime systems has been realized. The engineering environment consists of an open framework system with integrated toolsets. The framework systems contains a dialogue system, a nonstandard database system, a knowledge-based search component to locate re-usable results from earlier projects, and further support tools. The database system offers complex objects for the adequate modelling of real world objects, versions for managing the history of changes, and configurations for the management of the various deliveries. Existing tools, combined to form toolsets, have already been integrated into the framework and cover the entire life-cycle of the system. The syntactical integration of the tools in a toolset was realized by using the data model of the database system. The semantical integration occ urred via a transformation between the participation data models.
