Title

PGE1 improves red blood cell velocity in capillaries of conscious rats -WKY and SHR- within a therapeutical range

Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate red blood cell velocity (very) and diameters of copillaries (0cap) of conscious rats after low-dosed intravenous prostaglandin e1 injections. PGE1 influences skin and muscle vasculature homogeneously, thus the depilated rat auricle was used as a model. From our finings we conclude that intravenously injected PGE1 improves blood flow in capillaries within a therapeutical range.
