Title

Optische Dreikoordinatenmessung mit strukturierter Beleuchtung

Other Title
Optical 3-coordinate measurement with structured light
Abstract
Under the concept "Optical 3-coordinate measurement with structured light" optical measuring methods are summerized, which generate intensity distributions by imaging or interference within the measuring volume. Based on the images of the intersection lines with the surface of the object the coordinates of the measuring points are calculated. The used structures of intensity represent the scales of measurement. With one measurement only the height above a reference surface can be determined. That is why at least three independent values of measurement are necessary to calculate all three coordinates. Dependent on the special method of realizing the structured illumination there are differences of the technical setups, of the necessary calibration procedures, and of the influence of unavoidable errors of measurements. This paper describes a new idea of an optical 3D measuring method with structured light, which realizes a common scale of measurements for all three coordinates.
