Objektorientierte Prozeßleittechnik

The amount of information and the different views of this information in complex production processes require new approaches for structuring and accessing information through process monitoring and control systems. Object-orientation is the new and appropriate paradigm. The paper shows how object-orientation contributes to the solution of the complexity problem and mentiones details to be considered in the application of object-oriented techniques.
