Surface treatment of fibre composites

Abstract
The invention relates to a method of treating surfaces made of fibre composites and the use of the treated surfaces for bonding or repairing components. According to the invention, a characteristic feature of this method is that a laser is used for surface treatment; the laser is set such that the cured polymer is applied to a defined depth and the regulated energy of the laser is only sufficient for removing the polymer without noticeably damaging the fibres.
