Title

Narrowband interference filters for use in UV-B spectra region

Abstract
A type of narrowband interference filters for use in UV-B-spectral region has been developed. The f1ter is marked by extreme narrow bandwidth of about 2nm, good rejection on both sides of the pass band, and high peak transmission. Special care has been taken on the stability of the spectral characteristics of the interference filters against changes of environmental conditions by using only stable oxide thin-film materials. The filter performance achieved allows its use for the development of sensitive and specific instrumentation for environmental, climate, and meterological research.
