Abstract
The kinetics of alcohol dehydrogenase from Thermoanaerobium brockii was studied and a model was developed which allows to calculate the reaction rate for sulcatol production when the cofactor is regenerated by the coupled substrate approach. The constants in the model were calculated from initial rate experiments with the help of non-linear regression methods.
