Title

Mikrozirkulatorische Effekte von EMD 52692, einem neuen Kalium-Kanal-Aktivator

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate red blood cell velocity and diameters of capillaries of conscious rats after intraveneously administered EMD 52692 in skin microcirculation. Computing the data in form of cumulative frequency distributions it is shown that in capillaries the perfusion is homogeneously increased without indicating mal- or overperfusion in some vessels. Thus it is shown that the potassium channel activator EMD 52692 homogeneously increases blood flow in skin microcirculation of conscious rats in a dose where significant changes in heart rate, blood pressure or diameter of capillaries can be found.
