Metallographische und mikroanalytische Gefügecharakterisierungen an Drahtexplosionspulvern
Abstract
Wire explosion caused by electric current may be used as well for the preparation of microcrystalline layers as for the production of very finely grained powders. Grains of a Ni80Cr20 powder were investigated on their structure and composition by metallography, electron microscopy (SEM, TEM) and microanalysis (EDX, EELS). It could be shown that impurities of the starting material cause different effects in the in-dividual powder fractions from smaller than 5 nm to bigger than 90 Mym.
