Titel
Measurements in parallel-beam geometry achieved by a Göbel mirror at a laboratory source
Abstract
Measurements under grazing incidence and in sym. diffraction were carried out with Bragg-Brentano (BB) geometry, parallel-beam (PB) geometry, and setting for grazing incidence (GI). BB was not applicable to GI and the setting for GI brought wider reflections, but PB geometry showed the best overall performance. To provide correct angle measurement and to avoid asym. reflections 2 soller slits were mounted in front of the detector. The optical arrangement, the variation of the angle of incidence, the sample displacement are discussed and measurements Cu, quartz, and Zn are presented.
