Low sintering PZT by liquid phase formation
Abstract
The present paper reports on a study to lower sintering temperature of PZT-PMN by transient liquid phase formation. The investigated basic mixture is high sintering with Ts =1240 degree. Ts reduction down to 900 degree has been obtained by small additions of PBO-WO3-ZnO and Bi2O3-ZnO (level less than 7wt percent). The occurrence, of the liquid phase is explained on the basis of the phase relationships of the reacting oxides.
