Low molecular weight organic acids in rain water.

Organische Säuren mit niedrigem Molekulargewicht im Regenwasser
Abstract
Recent studies demonstrated that rain water may be heavily polluted by organic compounds including low molecular weight organic acids. In the past such acids were predominantly determined by ion-exclusion chromatography. We propose an alternative method which permits the analysis of these organic as their corresponding 4-hydroxymethyl-7-methoxy-coumarin esters by employing HPLC with fluorescence detection.
