Logistics. A strategic factor of success
Abstract
Based on the business aims to reduce costs and time in line with an improved quality the strategical potentials of logistics (structural, organizational and technological potentials) are presented and discussed in detail at the examples of reduced traffic, product lifecycle, logistic networks for automotive industry and profitable application of technologies (crane automation and automatic high-performance parking systems). The concept is based on the lean-production philosophy and the related presentation of processes in process models. Finally, the requirements on the training and education of logisticians are described.
