Title
Kritik und Verbesserung von Lebensdauervorhersagemethoden
Abstract
It is difficult to campare the accuracy of different concepts for fatigue life predictions. Usually a large costly set of fatigue test results with a wide variation of parameters ranging from various materials, several fatigue prone areas in the test specimens or components to different load-time histories will be required. Therefore, most comparisons made in the literature are fragmentary and are restricted to special cases, although quite often with the claim of being valid for a wide parameter variety. The present paper aims at demonstrating how changes in parameter combinations may effect the accuracy of fatigue life predictions.
