The results of the adhesion measurements according to the standard process tried and tested at the Fraunhofer-Institute IVV based on a modified industrial test show that a change of the sample size, of the conditioning of the samples and of the withdrawal conditions changes the measured values, so that their direct comparison no longer appears possible. Therefore, for the compatibility of adhesion measurements carried out at different test places, it was necessary to always use identical measuring parameters. The measuring parameters listed here can serve as the basis for the standardization of the adhesion measurements of thin films on plastics.
