Using an automatic guided vehicle, a solution is to be created to simplify the steering devices of an automatic guided vehicle allowing full manouvrability. This is achieved by the vehicle being fitted with four wheels (4) having several degrees of freedom in the plane to control the automatic guided vehicle (1) in any direction in the plane, whereby the wheels (4) are provided with a bearing (7) permitting contact with the floor for the wheels (4) at any time.
