Abstract
A mathematical model for an immobilized enzyme fluidized bed bioreactor is based on the axial dispersion model for the liquid phase, interparticle and intraparticle mass transfer and enzyme catalyzed reaction inside the beads. The defined effectiveness factor is height dependent which is included in the semi-analytical solution of the model.
