Abstract
(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Roentgencomputertomographiesystem zur Darstellung eines bevorzugt flaechigen Objekts (2), umfassend eine Transmissionstarget-Roentgenroehre (1), eine im Strahlengang der Transmissionstarget-Roentgenroehre angeordnete, zum Halten des Objekts und zum Rotieren desselben um eine Rotationsachse (R) ausgebildete Objekthalterung (3) und einen im Strahlengang der Transmissionstarget-Roentgenroehre nach der Rotationsachse angeordneten Bildaufnehmer (4) samt diesem nachgeschalteter Bildrekonstruktionseinheit (5) dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rotationsachse (R) im Wesentlichen parallel zur Hauptstrahlachse (E) des die Roentgenstrahlung erzeugenden Elektronenstrahls der Transmissionstarget-Roentgenroehre angeordnet ist und der Detektor sich im beleuchteten Halbraum ausserhalb der Hauptebene befindet.

The table is provided for holding an object i.e. circuit board, and for rotating the object around a rotational axis (R). A detector (4) and an image reconstruction unit (5) i.e. personal computer, are arranged in the optical path of the tube according to the rotational axis, where the image reconstruction unit is provided downstream to the detector. The rotational axis is laid parallel to a main ray axis (E) of electron rays of the tube, where the electron rays produce x-rays. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an X-ray computer tomography method for imaging of a flat object. USE - X-ray computer tomography system for use in quality assurance or material testing for imaging of a flat object i.e. equipped or non-equipped multilayer circuit board (all claimed), where the circuit board is utilized for highly integrated electronic circuits. ADVANTAGE - The system is designed such that different regions of large flat circuit boards including intrinsic details in all spatial directions are imaged in a simple manner with high resolution and reduced region-of-interest (ROI) artifacts.
