Abstract
(A1) Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Komposite aus einem elastischen und/oder thermoplastisch-elastischen Traegermedium und hartmagnetischen Partikeln, die in einem Magnetfeld polarisiert werden, wobei nach dem Abschalten des Magnetfeldes eine Magnetisierung zurueckbleibt.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of (I) comprising mixing at least a precursor of elastomeric material and/or thermoplastic elastic material with the first sort of magnetizable particle and subsequently chemically and/or physically cross-linking the obtained product to obtain a composite of (I). USE - (I) is useful as adaptive face, vibration damper, vibration insulators, controllable brakes, clutches, actuators, safety switches, haptic systems, artificial muscles; and in sport or training devices. (I) is useful for: the surface processing of the work pieces; the production and/or representation of haptic informations, which are characters, computer-simulated objects, sensor signals or images; simulation of viscous, elastic and/or visco-elastic characteristics and/or the consistency distribution of an object, preferably for training-, research-purposes; and/or medical applications (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The magnetization effect of (I) remains even after turning off the magnetic field.
