Abstract
(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Zellkulturmesssystem sowie ein Verfahren fuer vergleichende Untersuchungen an Zellkulturen. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, Moeglichkeiten vorzuschlagen, mit denen vergleichende Untersuchungen an Zellkulturen, bei gleichen Bedingungen an Zellen, die von einer Testfluessigkeit beeinflusst sind, und Zellen, die von einer Testfluessigkeit nicht beeinflusst sind, vornehmen zu koennen. Bei einem erfindungsgemaessen Zellkulturmesssystem sind Zellkulturen auf einem Zellkulturtraeger innerhalb eines Flusskanals kultiviert. Es sind ein Zufluss und ein Abfluss fuer ein fluessiges Kulturmedium und mindestens zwei Sensoren vorhanden. Ausserdem ist mindestens ein weiterer Zufluss fuer eine Testfluessigkeit in Stroemungsrichtung des Kulturmediums zwischen dem Zufluss fuer das Kulturmedium und dem Abfluss des Flusskanals so angeordnet, dass durch Verdraengung des Kulturmediums die durch den Flusskanal stroemende Testfluessigkeit lediglich einen Teil der auf dem Zellkulturtraeger vorhandenen Zellen um- und/oder ueberstroemt. Ausserdem ist mindestens ein Sensor im Bereich der von Testfluessigkeit unbeeinflussten Zellen und mindestens ein weiterer Sensor im Bereich von mit Testfluessigkeit beeinflussten Zellen angeordnet.

A further inlet is arranged for a test liquid in a flow direction of the culture medium between the inlet for the culture medium and the outlet of the flow channel, so that a part of the cells present in the cell culture carrier flows and/or overflows the test liquid. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The cell culture measuring system (1) for comparing analysis of cell cultures, comprises a cell culture carrier (10), in which the cell cultures are cultivated, a flow channel (1') having an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) for a liquid culture medium, and sensors (5, 6, 7). The cells are arranged within the flow channel. A further inlet is arranged for a test liquid in a flow direction of the culture medium between the inlet for the culture medium and the outlet of the flow channel, so that a part of the cells present in the cell culture carrier flows and/or overflows the test liquid flowing through the flow channel by displacing the culture medium. The volume flow rate of the culture medium and/or the test liquid guided through the flow channel is controllable or regulatable. The test liquid is an agent affecting the cells. The same sensors are arranged in the area of the cells unaffected by the test liquid and in the area of the cells affected with the test liquid. The inlet for the test liquid opens in an angle of 0-90?0 in relation to the flow direction of the culture medium in the flow channel. The sensors are directly formed at the or in the culture carrier. The flow channel in the area of the inlet for the test liquid has a large width than in the area of the inlet for the culture medium. The culture carrier is formed from polymer material and is selectively functionalized at its surface in area-wise manner. The sensors are arranged to each other in equal distances. The pH-sensitive-, oxygen-sensitive-, glucose-sensitive-, optical-, electric- and/or electrophysiological sensitive sensor are intended. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for comparing analysis of cell cultures by using a cell culture measuring system. USE - Cell culture measuring system for comparing analysis on cell cultures. ADVANTAGE - The cell culture measuring system is capable of effectively and easily detecting the cell functions or the effects of the cellulose change and variations of the morphology of cells and capable of analyzing the cells influenced by the test fluid and not influenced by the test fluid.
