Abstract
(A1) Bei einem optischen Element (1), das mit einer beschlagsmindernden Polymerschicht (2) versehen ist, ist an der Oberflaeche der beschlagsmindernden Polymerschicht (2) eine reflexionsmindernde Nanostruktur (7) ausgebildet.

 

DE 102007009512 A1 UPAB: 20081018 NOVELTY - Optical elements (1) with a mist-reducing (anti-fogging) polymer layer (2), in which a reflection-reducing nano-structure (7) is formed on the surface of layer (2). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for the production of an anti-reflection, anti-fogging layer on the surface of an optical element (1) by applying an anti-fogging polymer layer (2) to the surface, applying a thin layer (3) onto layer (2) and forming a nano-structure (7) by a plasma-etching process. USE - As optical lenses, lenses for spectacles, protective screens, OP masks, helmet visors for motorcyclists or display covers (especially e.g. display covers made of polyester or triacetylacetate sheet). ADVANTAGE - Improved optical elements with an anti-reflection and anti-fogging layer; the improvement is achieved by forming a nano-structure which is color neutral, even with slanting incident light, and shows a good reflection-reducing action without adversely affecting the anti-fogging layer.
