The rear side structure is formed as a separate module in the form of a bending-resistant, thin metallic, ceramic or organic sheet. The front screen is connected with a surface of the module carrier by a sealing compound. The front screen is made of glass, glass ceramic, or transparent plastic i.e. polymethyl-methacrylate based plastic. USE - Solar module for a building roof to produce electric current from sunlight. ADVANTAGE - The solar module has high mechanical stability, in particular high flexural rigidity and bending strength, and is durable against external influences. The solar module has long life span and ensures high efficiency at high solar radiation temperatures.
