Abstract
The reference process for the development of automotive product lines formulated in the project VEIA introduces different kinds of models for the representation of architectural views of the system family under development. The purpose of this report is to present methods and guidelines on how such models can be developed in the course of the process. Thereby mainly early models are considered, which in this case means the derivation of a function interface model and an executable hierarchical function model from an overall goal and constraints. These function models define the logical information flow but abstract from its realisation in software and hardware. The executable model is written in SystemC, the structural part of which closely corresponds to the AUTOSAR notation for software components. The methods are developed along with the case study "Condition Based Service" (CBS) of the project VEIA. CBS is a function family that recommends service dates for a vehicle based on different kinds of monitorings of its state. The other models of the reference process - feature models that define the scope and the structure of the function family and models of the technical infrastructure - are presented for the case study, too, but their systematic derivation is not investigated.
