Abstract
WO 2008052767 A2 UPAB: 20080627 NOVELTY - The solar cell (1) has a p-finger contact (3) and a n-finger contact (3') staying in electrical contact with a p-semiconductor and a n-semiconductor, respectively. Two electrodes (5, 5') tap an electrical current, where the electrodes are applied in parallel on an insulating layer (4) that spatially separates the p-finger contact and the n-finger contact from the two electrodes. The electrodes are contacted through the insulating layer, where the electrodes electrically contact the p-finger contact and the n-finger contact, respectively. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a solar cell module comprising two solar cells (2) a method for producing a rear-side contact solar cell. USE - Rear-side contact solar cell for a solar cell module (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrodes are applied in parallel on the insulating layer that spatially separates the p-finger contact and the n-finger contact from the two electrodes and are contacted through the insulating layer, where the electrodes electrically contact the p-finger contact and the n-finger contact, respectively, thus providing a simple structure for the solar cell and minimizing the electrical losses as well as offering a large variability with respect to the geometrical form of the finger contacts, and thin and small shape for the finger contacts so that the manufacturing cost is reduced.
