Titel
Low voltage organic field-effect transistors based on flexible substrates
Abstract
We report about steps towards the manufacture of organic field-effect transistors based on flexible substrates. The goal is to develop a process that allows the applicication of costeffective readily aluminised plastiv foils. Main objectives are the anodic oxidation of the gate electrode`s surface to fom an thin gate oxide which guarantees for low voltage operation and transistors comprising thiophene derivates as organic semiconductors. First experiments did not yield properties as good as silicon/ silicon dioxide based devices. Charge carrier mobilities up to 4.10 -5 cm²/ Vs were derived from the measurements.
