Titel
Non-cooperative scheduling for 3GPP LTE OFDM downlink in multi-cell environment
Abstract
In this paper we investigate the multicell throughput of an UMTS OFDM downlink air interface for 3GPP long term evolution. We compare a non- cooperative scheduling scheme using dynamic subcarrier allocation with a static scheme. It is shown that a dynamic scheduler is more robust against intercell interference at the cell border. Motivated by these results we also investigate the throughput scaling with respect to an advanced dynamic scheduling scheme that guarantees certain QoS classes. All simulations are carried out in standard 3GPP simulation environment.
