Titel
The peak-to-average power reduction problem - Fundamental limits and connection with Fourier analysis
Abstract
A major problem in multicarrier communication systems such as orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) is the unfavorable crest-factor, i.e., the square root of the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmit signal. Various algorithms have been developed to tackle this problem.
