Abstract
The objective of this paper is to illuminate the interplay of datasovereignty and data economy. To understand this interaction, it is important to consider a holistic approach consisting of data sovereignty, data economy, data rights, and data ethics. In this context, we identify and elaborate ten potential areas of tension.
