Titel
Method for requirements elicitation and traceability in a factory building conversion
Abstract
The method of requirements engineering originates from software development and describes the process of determining, documenting, validating, and managing requirements. The engineering approach in the process of identifying requirements offers the possibility to apply the systematic and methodical procedure to other branches not related to software development. The application of requirements engineering in the phase of requirements identification in the context of digital factory building models is investigated. In the life cycle phases of a factory building, different planners have a need for information from a digital building model. In order to identify these information requirements in the reconstruction phase of a factory, the method of requirements engineering will be used and adapted. The method of identifying and prioritizing information requirements adapted for digital building models is presented. The traceability of requirements is also integrated into the adapted method.
