Kühlung von Laserdioden - Entwicklung eines magnetokalorischen Prototyps
Abstract

The Mk-MedA consortium is developing a magnetocaloric industrial prototype as an alternative technology for the cooling of laser diodes. The prototype will be realized according to the principle of the active magnetic regenerator and is designed for a cooling capacity of 200 W at a temperature of 20 °C and an ambient temperature of up to 30 °C. In this article the interdisciplinary development of the individual components is presented, including the magnetocaloric material, the regenerator setup, the fluid management and magnet system.
