Biologische Transformation in der Produktion

Biological transformation in manufacturing
Abstract

The shortage of resources and climate change are forcing production technology to think about its traditional value creation. This is the starting point for biological transformation. It uses nature as a model and can therefore be seen as the next necessary technological leap not only towards sustainable but also resilient production. The fusion of technology, biotechnology and information technology will create a bio-intelligent system that will be the heart of biological transformation. Like the natural ecosystem, tomorrow's production will react autonomously and without central control to any changes, will use its materials and energies as long and sensibly as possible and will take human needs into account. For successful implementation, interdisciplinary knowledge transfer is absolutely essential. In addition, politics and economy are responsible for creating acceptance within the population and discussing ethical questions openly.
