Titel
Simultaneous Jamming and Navigation Pseudolite System
Abstract
This paper presents a concept for a pseudolite navigation system that also allows spectral denial. The system denies global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals to any unwanted receivers while maintaining navigation capability for desired ones, with required modifications. The interference impact on GNSS signals is evaluated, as these are required to minimize the influence of the jamming system to other non-targeted GNSS services. A laboratory set-up demonstrates the validity of these bounds, showing what interference effects should be considered in receiver design. The area of influence and impact on GNSS receivers is analyzed and simulated. The jamming-pseudolite system is a plausible concept for alternative navigation.
