Titel
Stabilizing the control of a plant material drying process in off-grid power systems
Abstract
The study aims to develop an effective power supply control system to maintain the drying process parameters and stability in the off-grid power systems. The paper is focused on the process of wild plant material drying based on the electric heating technology. In order to ensure the effective control and high quality of drying, the electric heater operation stability should be provided with the supply voltage and current values set. This stability of the wild plant material drying process should be ensured by an appropriate control. The remoteness of the central power systems from the sites of plant material collection causes the need to use various power sources that are characterized by variability of parameters. The paper addresses the problem of stabilizing operating parameters of an off-grid power system to improve the efficiency and quality of drying wild plant material when using the energy storage control system. A net-zero test system is investigated for illustration.
