Title

The application of industrial robots in the federal republic of Germany - state of the art and developments

Abstract
Introduction: Industrial robots have been around since 1965. They first came into use on an apprecialbe scale in Europe in the early on the job. Their major duties may be divided into the handling of tools and handling of work. Surveying current robotics applications in West Germany, it is found that roughly every second unit is installed in the automobile industry. Other that their now classic employment in spot welding, machine loading and arc welding, they are expected to enter a wide range of new uses in future, including machining of parts, loading of machines, and assembly of parts.
