Abstract
In this work we show the synthesis of a new photocurable crosslinker partly from regenerative materials by using "non isocyanate polyurethane" the so called NIPU chemistry which may be assigned to the green chemistry syntheses [3]. In a two step synthesis we get a highly viscous NIPU crosslinker that can be used in 3D printing processes. The crosslinker is described by GPC, NMR, IR and rheology parameters. The formulations have been cured and investigated for their mechanical parameters and biocompatibility tests have been performed according to ISO 10993-5. The obtained formulation from the new crosslinker was successfully used in an 3D printing test setup. We show that our NIPU based crosslinker is suitable in photocurable materials with competitive mechanical properties. A test sample of the elastic material has been printed by the means of STL.
