Abstract
The controlled management of development, process engineering, production, and quality assurance processes for miniaturized components, modules, and devices is a prerequisite for more comprehensive utilization of miniaturization potentials. Control of the various manufacturing processes presents a special challenge. This article introduces and discusses various processes of prototype, tool, and series manufacturing based on select examples.
